Training Overview
The aim of this subject is to enhance the trainees’ abilities to communicate by email effectively and efficiently, both formally and informally.
Training Benefits
At the end of the course, trainees will know how to:

Communicate online through emails, using appropriate language and punctuation;

Decide when to write an e-mail or to avoid it;

Develop efficient writing habits to improve e-mail writing skills;

Have an awareness of the legal implications of emails; and

Know how to organize their email account.
Training Outline
Key concepts of email writing are to be discussed and practiced within this practical course. Both formal and informal writing is addressed along with the legal implications of emailing.
Session 1.
This looks at the advantages and disadvantages of emails including legal implications.
Session 2
Looks at the structures and language of both formal and informal emails with a business context. Types of emails are also addressed.
Session 3;
To be conducted in the IT lab and involves a practical assignment plus trainer input.
Session 4:
To be conducted in the IT lab. A written paper with an assignment emailed to trainer is conducted in this session.
Ideal Attendees
Anybody who communicates through writing in English.

A certificate attendance with the details of the Training will be issued to all participants who successfully complete the training.
